St. Petersburg became one of the city-hosts of The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship.
The Krestovsky Stadium, which can fit 68 thousands of people, was chosen as a primary location for football matches. It is a new stadium opened in 2017 and looking like an alien spaceship was designed by Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa and is definitely worth visiting. Last year, Russia succesfully hosted a 2018 FIFA World Cup so it brought thousands of people from around the world and the atmosphere in the city was very friendly and fun. We invite you to come to St. Petersburg to become a witness of this major event!
